Product Description
The RCA connector is an electrical connector commonly used to transmit audio and video signals.The name RCA comes from the Radio Corporation of America, which introduced the design in the 1930s. The male and female sockets of a connector are called RCA plugs and RCA jack.It is also called RCA phono connector or phono connector.
The RCA connector was originally used for audio signals. Like many other connectors, it has been used for purposes other than originally intended, including DC power connectors, RF connectors, and speaker cable connectors. Its use as a connector for composite video signals is very common, but provides poor impedance matching. RCA connectors and cables are also commonly used to transmit digital audio in S/PDIF format, with plugs colored orange to distinguish them from other typical connections.
Color Code Options:
The Female RCA Jack are often color-coded, yellow for composite video,red for the right audio channel, and white or black for the left channel of stereo audio.
